Abstract :
Grasping the status of buildings energy consumption is the foundation of buildings energy saving. Facing plenty of buildings, statistics principle should be used to make survey data representative. In this paper, survey manner, sampling method and calculation of sample size had been investigated. Because of lacking of test sampling data, simulation was used as a substitute of survey sampling. In order to gain the sample size without sum of buildings, the relation between sample size and sum of buildings was obtained. Sample sizes of energy consumption survey of several cities in China were analyzed.
