  • Abstract
The work investigated that δ-MnO2 / Polymeric ferric sulfate (PFS) treated on electroplating wastewater containing heavy metal ions Cu2+, Pb2+, Cr3+. Effect adsorption on the pH, the amount of adsorbent, the input order and ratio of δ-MnO2 / PFS, the research determined the laboratory simulated electroplating wastewater treatment process and other basic parameters. The results showed that the best acidic conditions was pH = 7 ~ 8, and δ-MnO2 combined with PFS adsorption on heavy metals of wastewater with Cu2+, Pb2+, Cr3+ was better than the single use of δ-MnO2 and PFS, δ-MnO2: PFS for the 3:1 quality ratio, the first dosage of δ-MnO2 stirring for half an hour then plus PFS mixing 2 hours, the heavy metal ions Cu2+, Pb2+, Cr3+ from wastewater in the removal rate of 98.8%, 98.1% and 99.3% ion concentrations were lower than 1.0 mg / L. The results were in line with the national emission standards.
