Abstract
Building design is normally in relation to the interaction and compatibility of group and individual goals and value judgments. The members´ roles in a group fluctuate in importance and priority from one phase to another, which is fundamentally different from the corresponding process in unidisciplinary groups. In performing the design activities, the general trend is for these members to work independently of one another, whilst making design decisions that inevitably affect each other. This requires the intensive interaction and knowledge exploration between the members. This research is to exam the design process and search approaches for the integration of dynamic and diverse knowledge from multiple domains and disciplines to avoid the phenomenon characterized as conflicting.
