  • Abstract
    In this paper, a soft switching interleaved boost converter for photovoltaic power generation system is proposed. It is a topology, which raises efficiency for DC-DC converter of photovoltaic PCS (Power Conditioning System). And it minimizes switching losses by adopting soft switching method using resonance. The detailed mode analysis of proposed topology is presented. The feasibility of proposed topology is experimentally verified on a 3[kW] prototype. We demonstrated 3.8% increased efficiency compared with conventional hard switching interleaved boost converter at full load and obtained 98.5% maximum efficiency at 100% load condition.
