Abstract :
In this work, the authors report the status of the implementation of a femtosecond frequency comb consisting of a homemade femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser whose spectrum is broadened by a microstructure fiber. This frequency comb is going to be initially used in a scheme to directly measure optical frequencies and in an optical clock based on the calcium intercombination transition at 457 THz.
