Abstract
In this paper, a high-power-factor (high-PF) two-phase flyback converter based on current chasing without any current sharing required is presented herein, which is realized using two L6561 ICs together with a field programmable gate array (FPGA) technique. By doing so, not only the power factor (PF) and the total harmonic distortion (THD) are improved but also the output power is upgraded. Some experimental results are provided to demonstrate the proposed control scheme.
