Abstract :
In this paper, maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm to extract the maximum power is developed by using the torque applied to the generator instead of the speed. direct torque control (DTC) method is used to control the generator and the maximum power point is extracted to minimize the error between the generated power and the rated output power. The proposed algorithm is simulated by using the mathematical model and verified experimentally.
