Abstract :
A new method for combining dependent evidence is proposed based on identifying the dependent original evidences and independent original evidences. By solving the combination equation, the two dependent evidences can be identified into one dependent original evidence and two independent original evidences; the dependence between the two evidences is eliminated. Some conclusions of identifying the independent original evidences for Bayesian recognition framework are given and proved. The more reasonable results can be obtained through this method when fusing dependent evidences.
