Abstract
Through studying the input-output properties of the input-to-state stable (ISS) system, this paper proposes an approach to transform the interconnected system to cascade system, and analyzes the stability of a class of interconnected system which can not be solved by the small-gain theorem. At last, an add-on condition is given, by which the cascade system is equivalent to the interconnected system .
