  • Abstract
The common method for mismatched function design in non-cooperative passive detection is proposed. In some case, the opportunity emitter´s signal has an ambiguity function that doesn´t approach the ideal thumbtack surface. So the mismatched function is needed to enhance the detection performance of the system. The mismatched function design method can be described as follow: firstly, analyze the emitter signal by binary wavelets, then optimize the coefficients of wavelet modulus maxima, at last synthesize the mismatched function by better coefficients. The method can design preferable mismatched function at the cost of losing some SNR. Experiment result shows that the method is effectual.
