Abstract :
The interchangeability between time scale and time shift of wideband HFM signal is proposed. The self-CWT ridge of the rectangle enveloped HFM signal is derived in detail. Moving target detection and signal design are discussed. The numerical simulation is done to verify the characteristic of the ridge. Also the analysis and simulation of the LFM signal is given as a contrast. Real time simulation results are presented and show the prospect of wideband HFM signals in underwater signal processing applications.
