Abstract
This paper aims to focus on several practical and theoretical models proposed in one of the emerging subfields of DNA computing which deals with simulating Boolean Circuits and logic gates at molecular level. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) based logic gates are crucial component of molecular computer. Several advantages and shortcomings of some remarkable models employed for implementation of Boolean Circuits and logic gates are discussed and at the end it is concluded that the research on this area towards the realization of molecular computer will be good in near future.
