Abstract :
This paper explains development of a new mechanized self-assessment model according to principles and requirements of ISO 9004:2000 standard for quality management systems. An expert system has been applied in providing the assessment and scoring questions the experts´ knowledge, head auditors of quality management system to design a Mechanized Self Assessment System. The stage of development of this system conforms to the stage of development of expert systems. The results of this paper can help to organizations that assess and determine their quality management maturity level, and identify their performance improvement points with using this system for making better decision.
