Abstract
The antenna of the RFID tag is designed with the use of a free space model and can actually be used in a similar environment to free space, in other words, generic features of objects the tag is attached to are similar to those of air or at least in space with conditions where electromagnetic waves are not observed or reflected. In the case when a tag is attached to a paper box, plastics, or clothes, the functions of the RFID can be realized without harm to the surrounding environment, but when it is attached to conductive objects, its sensitivity rate decreases remarkably. To solve this problem, this study has designed a passive small RFID tag which is appropriate for small steel operating tools. For this, a small RFID tag is combined with magnets to confine its contact to operating tools for easy use and effective sensing which is detachable.
