Abstract
The author presents a description of the actual procedures and figures of the Brazilian industrial power system and steps taken in Brazil to increase its reliability. Brazilian industry consumes more than fifty percent of the power produced in Brazil. The use of CHP and predictive maintenance has helped to increase system reliability
