Abstract
Because of global warming, developed countries have launched their strategies and policies into developing low carbon economy. Low carbon economy developments in developed countries have characteristics of setting precise environmental protection targets, establishing complete management systems, leading by a variety of means, and attaching great importance on international cooperation & research and development of advanced technologies. Thus, taking China´s real conditions into consideration, hard work needs to be done in many aspects including laws, policies, institutions, technologies and publicity in order to promote low carbon economic development in China.
