Abstract
High speed data transfer on the Power Line is more and more used in the communication systems. This paper´s aim is to present a comparison between two approaches of modeling of the transmission channel in the frequency range of 1 MHz -30 MHz : the top-down approach and the bottom-up approach. For the comparison, a simple electrical supply network made between the transmitter and the receiver is considered.
