Abstract :
This study takes into account an extremely high price of technological search of lightguides with the given parameters for concrete operations. The described method of lightguide synthesis allows to obtain the law of a refractive index in the cross-section of a lightguide with the given power localization coefficient for a propagated wave on a fixed frequency. To test the proposed method, numerical simulation is carried out using the solution of an analysis problem for synthesized lightguides. The comparison shows that the discrepancy is not more than 0.15%. An application of such lightguides expands functional possibilities of the integrated optical elements, which can be used in various waveguide devices.
