Abstract
This paper summarizes the characters of some theories which deal with uncertain information including probability and mathematical statistics, fuzzy mathematics, rough sets, nonclassical logic and grey systems, as well as compares and analyses the similarities and differences among them. Moreover, in this paper, we discuss the feasibility of combining respective advantages of dealing with uncertain information with others´ so as to process uncertain information more effectively.
