Abstract
Boost type PWM rectifiers need special feedback control loops to work properly. The author analyzes three different feedback control strategies which are studied. The three strategies discussed are: DC controlled rectifiers; indirect current controlled rectifiers; and indirect DC voltage controlled rectifiers. The stability boundaries, parameter sensitivity and complexity of each topology are analysed. Advantages and disadvantages are mentioned, to conclude which one can become more reliable
