Abstract
This paper is concerned with the theoretical and experimental investigation of power flow angle (PFA) of SH0 waves propagating in thin plates. It is found that the PFA is a sensitive function of electrical boundary conditions. Variations in PFA of as much as 14deg can be obtained for SH0 waves propagating in Y cut lithium niobate plates. This effect can be gainfully employed for development of various devices for signal processing, for example, electrically controlled acoustic switches
