Abstract :
Thin paper establishes the relationship equations of the state variables of the MTDC network to the AC bus voltage of the converter station as well as the presented DC control parameters, and uses the relationship equations to calculate the coupling items between AC network and MTDC network. The collapse point method is applied to AC/MTDC power system, and a fast solution method to calculate the worst load increasing direction in AC/MTDC power system is proposed. This method is very convenient to consider the limits of MTDC system variables and to adjust operation modes. The calculation of example system shows the feasibility of this method in the end.
