  • Abstract
The artificial immune system (AIS) hypermutation pattern recognition algorithm is designed, which is based on the principle of human immune system and the artificial immune system common algorithms. A paradigm of four simple signal patterns is analyzed through the AIS common algorithms and the AIS hypermutation algorithm. The result shows the three AIS pattern recognition algorithms can all correctly recognize the four patterns and the AIS hypermutation algorithm is much faster to reach the optimal antibody with better affinity than the common algorithms. An application of AIS hypermutation algorithm in ultrasonic defects detection is depicted and the result shows the hypermutation algorithm is practical in the aerial honeycomb core material debonding defect detection.
