Abstract :
Modeling of radio channel, and field strength decay prediction in particular, is one of the most significant and critical aspects of designing any modern radio network. This paper provides detailed information on one of the methods of such a prediction which uses empirical propagation indoor models. Both definitions and parameters of the mentioned models and their advantages and disadvantages are presented. In the final part, simulation and measurement results are discussed in order to assess the usefulness and reliability of this method of prediction.
