Abstract :
As the demand of content browsing and downloading is moving from the desktop web access to cell phones and other mobile device, there is lots of mobile content distribution systems emerged. Most of the existed platforms only support one certain kind of contents and don´t have the copyright protection mechanism. After studying those systems, we developed a generic content delivery system, which supports the maintenance, management and delivery of different kinds of contents based on OMA download architecture and DRM, which leverages the existing download mechanisms and property right protection during the delivery process. The basic principle, design and implementation, evolution of the system have been discussed in this article.
