  • Abstract
The extension of the method of auxiliary sources (MAS) into time domain is presented. The MAS has been extensively applied to the wide class of steady electromagnetic processes problems as one of the efficient tools. It provides the faster algorithm for simulation and visualization of electromagnetic periodical and transient processes in real scale of time. Particular efficiency occurs for closed scatterers. With the help of MAS in the time domain it is easy to follow the formation of eigenfields of various structures. The transient scattering on a cylinder with a longitudinal slot is considered as an example
