Abstract
The possibility of controlling the radiation and scattering characteristics of an object without changing its geometry, but only changing the shape, thickness and electrodynamic properties of the coating is considered. The numerical algorithm used to solve the boundary problem is described, and some numerical results for 2-D and 3-D objects with different types of coatings are presented and analyzed
