Abstract :
A two-part, vaginal, telemetric thermometer is discussed, using low-power UHF radio as the transmission medium. Worn overnight, the telemetry transmitter sends pulse modulated data continuously to a microcontroller in an adjacent receiver where the subject´s temperature is extracted to 0.1°C resolution, and stored for later processing. The propagation characteristics of the radio link and initial measurements pertaining to ovulation indication are presented
