Abstract :
On the basis of the parabolic (quasi-optic) approximation the nonlinear interaction of finite uniformly exited sound beams is investigated. The method of presentation of primary excitation as a superposition of Gaussian beams is used. The effect of the near-field oscillation of amplitude and phase of the primary beams is accounted for. The amplitudes of the difference frequency and second harmonic components in the acoustic beam are analyzed numerically
