Abstract
In this paper a simple method for electric motor control is presented -Flux Control with Space Vector Modulation (FC-SVM). The FC-SVM can be applied both for induction and synchronous machine (similar to Direct Torque Control with Space Vector Modulation DTC-SVM). This method is based on error between reference and actual stator flux vector modulation. Referenced stator flux vector has to be predicted and after comparison with actual stator flux vector the flux error is defined. This error is delivered to the SVM. Voltages are not used in the control loop. Presented method allows to achieve good dynamics performance, as good as DTC-SVM, in constant torque region, constant power region and also in constant sleep frequency region. However, this method is not as computationally loaded as conventional DTC-SVM. Some simulation and experimental results are included.
