Abstract
ICT (Industrial Computerized Tomography) slice cross-sectional data inevitably have errors, and thus will directly influence model reconstruction possibility and characteristics. The data pre-processing method was investigated for the complex structure and irregular cavity parts, which can be divided into smoothed and reduction process. According to the point clouds characteristics, the profile data are divided into inner ring and outer ring, according to arc-length parameter adaptive smoothed method. In smoothed process the original data were all retained, while in the next reduction process, the smoothed data were reduced according to both the angle threshold and distance threshold. For the specified example, this method was verified and has high-efficiency for complex and irregular parts.
