Abstract
In this paper, a predictive control is proposed for the two inductor boost converter. State-space averaging technique is used to model the converter system. Predictive control law is derived, to track the inductor current to the predefined reference and to achieve load voltage regulation. The system is stable even for duty ratio´s greater than 0.5. The proposed control concept is verified through PSIM simulations and compared with conventional current mode control.
