Abstract
Secondary calibration of a 2.25 MHz center frequency, 25.4 mm of diameter transducer was performed using two different excitation signals: chirp-coded pulse and a set of pure-tone busts. For some frequencies, measurements were performed in the near and/or distorted field. Chirp-coded excitation was more robust than pure-tone burst, resulting in better measurement with respect to distortion and diffraction occurrence
