Abstract
Circuit operation is analyzed for the ideal and real circuit of a DC-DC power convertor. The voltage ratio is deduced for each operating mode as a function of load current, duty factor and component values. Boundary conditions between different operating modes are obtained. Component ratings are summarized, to facilitate circuit design
