Abstract :
Different current measuring systems (DCMS) need branched magnetic circuits. Current measuring accuracy in these systems depends on proportionality which has to be kept between measured current and excited magnetic flux in particular branches of magnetic circuits. In the paper results of wide investigations of many type of magnetic cores which have been carried out based on finite element methods (FEM) are presented. 3D & 2D methods have been applied and their results compared. Also particular type of magnetic cores and magnetic materials have been examined in experiments and their results compared with simulation results.
