Abstract :
Ethernet-based network technologies are under investigation as a result of an increase of digital media devices. Standardizing the transmission technologies of time-sensitive traffic over the Ethernet has progressed in the IEEE 802.1 AVB TG. In this paper, we implemented IEEE 802.1 AVB Local Area Network system for time-sensitive traffic. In addition, we have proposed frame forwarding rules and a transmission method for link utilization that is one of the problem of IntServ-based network. We analyzed the performance of an IEEE 802.1 AVB model using the OPNET simulation tool.
