Abstract :
Telematics and its implications has entered the scene of education with an explosion. Multimedia has been accepted by the masses as a coined term. World Wide Web has increasingly been used for course and information delivery, and is now a widely accepted tool for teaching and learning. The general nature of this paper is meant to provoke argument about these issues and represent what many of you have already been discussing amongst yourselves. Although it has the elements of a survey, it only attempts to point a vector at selected features of the current situation which is of interest to engineering educators
