Abstract :
The FSO route diversity gain of links forming a part of the Czech FSO network was evaluated. Contrary to a single FSO link, divergent links offer substantially better availability. In our case, diversity gain reaches tens of decibels per 1 km of the link. Next research steps will be focused on derivation of specific method for join diversity features of FSO and microwave links.
