  • Abstract
    The heat transfer occurring between the fingertip and an explored surface plays a major role in the tactile exploration. We propose a new heat transfer model between the finger skin and any explored surface. This model is based on an electrical analogy. A comparison between the model and some experimental results are also presented in this paper.
