  • Abstract
    With the advent of the home automation technologies, important issues, like the rationalization of the energetic consumptions, the management of the electric loads through strategies of energetic saving, the monitoring of the consumptions, the diagnostic and the preventive maintenance, the optimisation of energy resources at home, the remote assistance, the white goods control and monitoring, can finally be discussed broadly, so that also a number of technical solutions can be discussed. In this context the so called "static meters" or "electronic solid-state meters" play a crucial role. These are digital electronic devices for the on-line electric quantities measurement, like power (active, reactive, apparent), energy, rms values etc.
