Abstract :
Double resonance SAW filters are studied in this paper. The acoustic energy distribution in the filters is measured using a scanning laser interferometer. Line profiles of acoustic power in the longitudinal direction of the device are extracted from the laser-interferometric measurements. The measured profiles are compared with the simulations obtained using the coupling-of-modes model. The measurement results and simulations are in excellent agreement
