Abstract :
Argonne National Laboratory is designing a 7-GeV Advanced Photon Source (APS). The RF systems of the APS include 10-MHz and 120-MHz systems for the Positron Accumulator Ring (PAR), a multicell 352-MHz system for the booster synchrotron, and a system of mode-damped, single-cell 352-MHz cavities for the storage ring. The authors describe the design of the PAR cavities, the configuration of the booster system, test results of the junction circulator developed for the cavities, and results of higher-order mode damping as applied to the storage ring cavities
