Abstract
In order to supplement the traditional aids for the visually impaired, many different technologies are being explored to provide more accurate and useful information. In particular, vision systems generate visual information that can be used to provide guidance to the visually impaired. This paper presents a ID signal matching algorithm for stereo vision correlation as well as an embedded system that provides obstacle distance estimation to the user.
