  • Abstract
Cells tightly contacted to tissue surface by mechanical pressure or AC dielectrophoresis can be fused by electropulsing on to the tissue membrane. We report a multiple pulse electrofusion process to fuse uncontacted human RBC directly on human term placetal amnion tissue in-vitro without any morphological damage to both the cell, and the tissue. 10 rectangular pulses of 10 μs pulse length and of electric field (EF) ranging from 0.2 to 0.3 kV/cm, can make RBC, suspended at the fetal side of the amnion, to fuse with the columnar or cuboidal epithelial cell´s membrane of the amnion
