Abstract :
The ECG signal is a non-stationary signal, and it is pseudo-periodic in nature. In this paper, the suitability of a novel AM model is tested to parameterise the ECG signal. The proposed model is found to represent successfully not only the ECG signal as a whole, but also its constituent waves separately
