Abstract
This paper describe the application of the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD) for space station communications performance analysis. A three dimensional UTD model is implemented. Comparisons of simulation results with flight data are presented. The results indicate good correlation between computed and measured signal strengths. Therefore, the UTD model is suitable for space station communication and navigation system RF coverage analysis.
