Abstract :
The CCIT standard ISDN-CCS7 structure and the functions required for point-to-multipoint subscriber radio systems are described with emphasis on the SR500 radio system. The point-to-point CCS7 (common channel signaling number 7) structure is modified to support point-to-multipoint common signaling in a subscriber radio configuration. Procedures and functions applicable to the central station and outstations of a subscriber radio system are discussed. A dynamic scheme to allocate signalling trunks is introduced for efficient use of system capacity.<>
