Abstract :
This paper presents an independent vector control of two permanent magnet (PM) motors with five-leg inverter by the expanded two-arm pulse-width modulation (PWM) method. This PWM method can control independently both PM motors that use the leg connected in common. Simulation results show that the proposed method is effective under various driving conditions
