  • Abstract
    Microstrip patch antenna holds many promises for wireless applications. It has advantages like conformability to host surface, light weight, low profile and easy installation. This paper presents a novel design for a low cost, single layer, single feed, compact microstrip patch antenna for multi-band wireless applications. According to the electrical performance, the antenna should find use for high speed wireless local area networks (IEEE 802.11a standard), Wi-MAX, ISM band, C-band, and X-band radio and RADAR applications.
