Abstract
In this paper we analyze the statistics of widely-used channel parameters (like path loss, rms delay spread and excess delay) at 5.2 GHz in an urban scenario. For this purpose we evaluate broadband time-variant channel measurements. Succeeding we present the results split into two scenario groups, consisting of LOS and NLOS components and NLOS component solely. Within the evaluation, the widely accepted COST207 value of 1 mus as a maximum excess delay for the micro-cell environment can be verified. Furthermore we determine model parameters fitting the empirical distributions best (under least squares conditions), which can be used easily for channel modeling purpose.
